Why this is exciting
As a Customer Data Platform (CDP), Segment collects, cleans, unifies customer data and routes this to different destinations. This integration makes Engage a possible destination for customer data. The customer data can then be used on Engage to create customer segments for personalised messaging.
Powerful Customer Segmentation
A segment is a group of customers that share similar characteristics. By grouping customers by similar traits, actions and non-actions, it is possible to then send targeted messages to relevant groups.
Multichannel messaging and automation
Once you create customer segments, you can easily send broadcasts to these segments through email, SMS, push notification on mobile and in-app messaging on web. You can also create dynamic message workflows to automatically onboard and re-engage your customers based on data changes and triggers.
Get Started with the Segment integration
The Engage and Segment integration is now available to every account on Engage. Login to your Engage account, visit Settings -> Integrations and click on the Segments option.
