Why this is exciting
Paystack is one of the leading payment gateways in Africa. Over 60 thousand global brands, organisations and vendors, trust Paystack to accept payments. Engage’s Paystack integration makes it possible for these businesses to use customer billing data and events from Paystack to automate their customer messaging with Engage.
What this means
- Businesses can create customer segments based on payment data (like amount, payment status or plan name), payment events (successful subscription renewal). A segment is a group of customers that share similar characteristics, e.g plan, location, "yet to renew subscription". Engage automatically adds or removes customers to/from these segments as billing events come in from Paystack.
- Businesses can send targeted campaigns to customer segments through email, SMS and push notifications. This ensures the right message is sent to the right customer at the right time.
- Businesses can automate their customer messaging based on customer billing data. For example, an automation can be created on Engage to automatically send a payment failure notification email to customers when their subscription renewal fails.
Get started with the Paystack integration
The Paystack integration is now available to every account on Engage. Login to your Engage account, visit Settings -> Integrations and click the connect button for the Paystack integration. You will be guided on the next steps.
